Peggy M. Ruhlin, CPA/PFS, CFP Principal; Budros, Ruhlin & Roe

As a Certified Public Accountant (accredited as a Personal Financial Specialist), and a Certified Financial Planner certificant, Peggy Ruhlin is a principal of the wealth management firm Budros, Ruhlin & Roe.

Ruhlin serves as a Trustee of Otterbein College and as Chair of its Investment Committee. She is also a Trustee of the Foundation for Financial Planning and is Chair of the Finance & Investment Committee. In March, Ruhlin was inducted into the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges' Hall of Excellence. She was Chair (1997-98) and President (1996-97) of the International Association for Financial Planning (IAFP), and was instrumental in its merger into the Financial Planning Association (FPA).

In 2004, Ruhlin was named one of the nation's "100 Most Exclusive Wealth Advisors" by Robb Report, following six consecutive years as one of the "Best Financial Advisers" in the U.S. by Worth magazine. Previously, Ruhlin was named one of "100 Great Financial Planners" (2001) by Mutual Funds magazine, and was selected "Financial Planner of the Year" (1988) by the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA).

She is a graduate of Otterbein College. In addition to her membership in FPA and NAPFA, Ruhlin is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), International Women's Forum, Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the nationally recognized wealth management consortium, The Alpha Group.
