David P. Blom is president and chief executive officer of OhioHealth, a not-for-profit, charitable health system. With 15,000 employees and more than $1.8 billion in net revenue, OhioHealth offers a full continuum of care from hospitals to home health and hospice services.

Blom joined the OhioHealth family of hospitals and health services in 1983. He has served in key leadership roles at OhioHealth hospitals. He was instrumental in the financial turn-around of Grant Medical Center in the late 1980s and led the hospital's transition into the OhioHealth system and its merger with Riverside Methodist Hospital.

Blom served as President of OhioHealth's central Ohio hospitals – Grant, Riverside and Doctors Hospitals – while also serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of OhioHealth. He was named President and CEO of OhioHealth in March 2002 and elected to the board of the Ohio Hospital Association in January 2002.

He holds a bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University and a master's degree in healthcare administration from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
