Denise Nemchev
President of Stanley Assembly Technologies
Denise Nemchev is the President of Stanley Assembly Technologies, a Division of the Stanley Works. The Stanley Works, an S&P 500 company, is a worldwide supplier of tools, hardware and security solutions for professional, industrial, and consumer use. Operating out of Cleveland, Ohio, the Assembly Technologies Division provides solutions to the global assembly market, including the motor vehicle industry.
Nemchev joined Stanley in 1992 as a Manufacturing Engineer and for the past 12 years, has held roles in engineering, manufacturing, procurement, process improvement (cost down), and global product management. While leading at Assembly Technologies for the past 2 1/2 years, Nemchev and her team have increased sales, profits and Return on Capital Employed (ROCE).
Denise received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a minor in psychology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a "Management of Technology" MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI).
