You’ve just taken over some new responsibilities. Maybe you are heading a new group, you are moving into an expanded or different line of business, or you have just become the leader of a much larger organization. There are some very good books you can read, and you can get some top-notch help from many of the materials available through the Franklin University Leadership Center.

But, how about just a quick little list to post for daily reference?

  • Rise above (some will be initially critical of you!)
  • Expect a lot (from everyone, including yourself)
  • Demand respect, but more importantly, give it
  • Don’t be shy (get out of the office, away from that desktop)
  • Kick it up a notch (after all, that’s why you are there!)
