The Financial Leadership Institute is for leaders or emerging leaders who place leadership development as a top priority, expect results, and have the commitment to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of their efforts.

Today’s successful financial leaders help create organizational value, not simply measure it. There are endless opportunities for financial people in 2010 to play key roles in transforming visions and strategies into successful action programs at every level of the organization. Financial leadership is influence. It is not a position on the organization chart, but instead is having the courage and spirit to help move the organization to levels of higher achievement. Financial leadership is developed, not discovered. The effectiveness of one’s work will be determined by their ability to lead and influence others. This program, developed by the Leadership Center, will help you achieve that higher level of leadership. The program includes seven workshops (Aug. 31; Sept. 14; Oct. 4; Nov. 10; Jan. 19; Feb. 24 and Mar. 24) and registration to the April 2011 Raymond E. Mason Jr., Leadership Symposium. Registration is for the entire series. Sessions will be videotaped in case you miss a session.

Focus on developing and refining financial leadership skills and abilities and they can best be applied within the department and orgainzation as well as outside the organization. The program is led by Paul Otte, Exectuive Director, Franlin University Leadership Center, and there is a special emphasis on financial leadership skills and abilities presented by Jack Park.
