Leadership Development
Many leadership development programs are no more than a series of unrelated events, often led by outside trainers who have little or no understanding of each organization's unique needs. These events can be extremely costly in terms of fees and time spent by participants. We offer a better way. The Leadership Center's Leadership Development Programs tap resources available through the University's coursework along with exercises, activities, and instruments our Leadership Center hasdeveloped for other organizations like yours. We will work with you to assemble the right mix of proven methods in order to reach set goals; the end result of using our existing resources is less impact on your budget and a more successful and sustained outcome.

LEADERSHIP SETS YOU APART
When you choose our Leadership Center, we help you identify, encourage, and develop leadership in individuals, teams, and organizations using the same philosophy outlined in the acclaimed book, The Conflicted Leader and Vantage Leadership, by General Al Gray, USMC (Ret.) & Dr. Paul Otte. The "higher levels of leadership" unveiled in the book – and in our Leadership Development Programs – offer guidance for what organizations should be seeking in current and future leaders:
- Seeing the possible over the probable.
- Staying focused despite uncertainty.
- Remaining conceptual.
- Having commitment, and
- A sense of presence.
We believe in "leader lead" development programs and, thus, provide resources and guidance that allow leaders to direct their teams through the Leadership Development Program we design. Everyone involved benefits from the practical experience.
Our extensive inventory of existing resources gives us the flexibility to create programs that meet your level of commitment as far as time, availability, goals, and budget. Contact the Franklin University Leadership Center today so we can begin working with you to achieve actionable, relevant, and realistic leadership goals.
